Volunteer opportunity-meal service the 3rd Monday of the month @ 4:00pm
The New Community Shelter was founded in 1994 to help the homeless and the hungry, and has evolved to become one of the most respected shelters in the State of Wisconsin and is respected by officials and residents of the City of Green Bay. The New Community Shelter is the only Emergency Shelter in Brown County open year round that serves homeless adult men and women. In addition to our Emergency Shelter Program, the New Community Shelter has provided a Transitional Living Program and a Community Meal Program since 1994. Food served by Saints of
De Pere volunteers the 3rd Monday of the month is purchased from the Swan Club (chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, dressing, corn, desserts). 5-6 volunteers are needed monthly for the meal ministry.
