Welcome to the registration page for Discipleship Formation. As you consider registering your children, we invite you to reflect on the rewarding experience of volunteering with our program. Our volunteers are not only well supported and rewarded throughout the year, but they also enjoy a tuition discount. This is a wonderful opportunity to deepen your involvement in our community and support your child's spiritual journey. We also offer a family discount for those with more than three children.
Catechist Role—Catechists play a critical role in providing a safe and welcoming environment for our children. They plan and lead weekly lessons for a grade-specific classroom, utilizing material and resources provided by the director and coordinator. They work with children in Grades K-5 and 9-11. If you choose to be a catechist, please use the coupon code catechist2024 when checking out; 100% of your family’s tuition will be waived.
New Fall 2024: Mentor Role—Mentors provide a safe and fun place for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders where they find a solid Catholic community, get answers to their faith questions, and experience Jesus in a profound and personal way. The director and coordinator provide EDGE resources to make leading a small group through discussions and activities easy. If you choose to be part of this relational ministry as a mentor, please use the coupon code mentor2024 when checking out; 100% of your family’s tuition will be waived.
Helper Role – Helpers serve in a variety of roles. Some helpers assist the catechist in the classroom, ensuring a smooth learning experience. Others keep shared spaces safe by locking facility doors and monitoring children when not in the classroom; they might also answer the program’s phone. Some helpers assist with projects or food preparation. Others serve as substitute catechists. We aim to have all shared spaces monitored by helpers and all classrooms covered by a catechist and helper. New Fall 2024: Large Family Discount—Families with more than three children will find fees automatically waived for any remaining children beyond three. When registering, sacramental children (2nd and 11th grade) must be registered before non-sacramental children.

Financial Difficulties – Saints of De Pere believes parish children should be enrolled in our formation program. When financial hardships occur, fees can be managed by becoming a catechist, mentor, or helper for our program or by using the payment plan when checking out. You can also contact Pam at 920-337-2330 to discuss other options; the call is confidential.
Schedule Enhancements for 2024-25 Formation Year
Catechist of the Good Shepherd will remain at St. Francis Xavier on Tuesday mornings at 10:30am.
Grades K-2 will remain at St. Mary on Sunday mornings from 10:00-11:15am.
Grades 3-8 will remain at St. Mary on Wednesday evenings, but all students will attend from 6:00-7:30pm.
Grades 9-10 will move to Sunday evenings from 6:30- 8:00pm. They will continue to meet at St. Mary.
Grade 11 will remain on Sunday evenings from 6:30- 8:00pm. Once Confirmation preparation begins in late March, classes will be 6:00-8:00pm. Meetings at St. Mary.
