The Altar Rosary Society is a women’s group with members from St. Mary and St. Francis Xavier who praise and honor the Blessed Virgin Mary and secure her patronage by the recitation of the Rosary. The group meets on the first Friday of the month, September through May, at St. Francis Xavier. Rosary begins at 7:10am, followed by Mass at 7:30am. Members gather in the Fr. Dolski Parish Center following Mass for a light breakfast, short business meeting, and a speaker. New members are always welcome!

Monthly Eucharistic Adoration

Eucharistic Adoration is held on the second Tuesday of every month from 8:00am-8:00pm at St. Francis Xavier Parish. You are invited to spend time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. If you are willing to open yourself to our Lord, He will touch your heart. Come for a few minutes or make an hour-long commitment to be an honor guard for Jesus. Honor guards serve as a quiet, prayerful presence for the Blessed Sacrament.

Cancellation Policy: If schools are closed due to weather, adoration will be cancelled.

Volunteer couples provide insight and guidance to couples who are planning to marry in our church by reviewing the results of a FOCCUS assessment that is completed separately by the bride and groom. FOCCUS identifies a broad range of important topics that can help couples understand the meaning of their union and learn communication and conflict resolution skills that will enhance their lifelong relationship. Training is provided by the Diocese of Green Bay and paid for by the parish.

The St. Mary Quilters is a ministry that creates beautiful quilts for parish fundraisers and other charitable organizations. The Quilters have been a part of our parish for over 40 years. This ministry offers the opportunity for people share their giving spirit through their craft and social events. Even for those without quilting skills, there are many ways to contribute to this ministry. All interested parishioners are welcome to join the group on Thursdays at Notre Dame Elementary School.

Those with an interest in pro-life activities can participate in 40 Days for Life Vigils and/or help with the Mother’s Day Rose Sale. Volunteers work in cooperation with national organizations to form the ministry for our parish.

40 Days for Life Fall Vigil in 2019 will take place from September 25 to November 3. Our community will take part in this groundbreaking, coordinated international mobilization. We pray that, with God’s help, this will mark the beginning of the end of abortion in our city – and beyond. Our parishes are walking on Tuesdays from 12:00 noon-1:00pm. All are encouraged and welcome to join fellow parishioners at the public right-of-way near Planned Parenthood, 2605 S. Oneida Street, Green Bay, to walk and peacefully pray for the end to abortion. All are welcome anytime, 24/7, to join others in prayer.
