PARISH PICNIC & CAR SHOW

The Annual Parish Picnic & Car Show, held in July, is our largest fundraiser of the year, and volunteer participation is a key component to the success of our picnic! The day begins with the 10:00am Mass, followed by food and festivities. Musical entertainment is provided by local groups. The Annual Car Show features cars, trucks, motorcycles, and other vehicles of interest presented by area car collectors for awards and bragging rights. A variety of activities on the parish grounds includes a White Elephant Sale, Raffle Hub, Silent Auction, quilters’ booth, children’s games, food tents, and more. Raffle ticket sales are the secret to the financial success of the picnic. Our grand prize of $2,500, along with smaller cash prizes, are the key components in raising funds that support our parish throughout the year.

BAKE SALE

Talented and creative bakers lend their culinary skills to our parish Bake Sale where a variety of delicious baked goods are available for purchase after all weekend Masses. The Bake Sale is held monthly from September to May. We invite bakers of all ages share their joy of baking while supporting our parish in this fundraiser.

BOOYAH SALE

Delicious carry-out booyah is prepared and sold by the bowl or container twice a year at our parish. Volunteers are always needed and welcome as we come together in fellowship to cut vegetables and chicken in preparation for the booyah. Our sales are held on designated Sunday mornings in the spring and fall, which are announced in the bulletin.

PANCAKE & PORKY BREAKFAST

St. Mary Pancake and Porky Breakfast is an opportunity to meet a lot of great people and experience what makes this parish so special. This fundraiser offers a breakfast of pancakes, porkies and scrambled eggs in the St. Mary Social Hall on a Sunday during Lent. Breakfast is prepared by volunteers and served by our local Boy Scout troop. We welcome all who would like to share a meal with fellow parishioners or volunteer for the event.

PARISH GROUNDS
ANGEL CREWS

Volunteers are crucial in maintaining the beauty and cleanliness of our church and grounds all year round. Assistance in mowing and trimming the grass areas, planting and upkeep of gardens, Spring & Fall clean-up, and snow removal are gratefully appreciated. Help in keeping the church clean is a group effort. This is a fantastic way for families or friends to bond with each other and with God’s house as they commit to caring for the church. Our volunteers choose one Sunday each month to clean the church after the 10:00am Mass on a rotating schedule with other groups of 2-3 people.
